Dronfield and District CAMRA trip to Newark and Southwell

Dronny goes to Newark and Southwell Saturday 26th Oct 16 seater minibus trip leaving the Pioneer Club at 12.00 midday with pickups on route by arrangement, returning around 8.00pm. Drop-offs also by arrangement Cost £12.00pp. Minimum number to run 12. Newark is home to several very good and award -winning pubs which are in relatively easy, flat walking distance of each other.

The Organ Grinder, Blue Monkey owned,

Fox and Crown, Castle Rock plus many guests, Prince Rupert, tad expensive GBG free house.

Flying Circus, quirky free house,

Just Beer, multi award winning Micropub,

Sir John Ardene is the Wetherspoons offering.

Folk can either be guided around the best of Newark or do their own thing,(information at WhatPub – Newark upon Trent).

We'll call at the impressive Final Whistle at Southwell before heading back and a surprise 'organiser’s choice' comfort break pub if time.

Approximate timing: 12.00, Depart Dronfield, Arrive Newark 1.30pm, depart 4.30pm. 20 mins to Southwell, depart 6.00pm, Comfort break on way back to Dronfield for 8.00pm
